What’s the best way to initiate a client relationship with buyers? Some agents prefer conducting a formal presentation, including slides and/or handouts, while others take a more casual approach. Some prefer emphasizing certain topics more than others. And what about the all-important topic of getting a buyer’s signature on a representation agreement?

To be sure, there is no BEST way to handle a buyer consultation. Each state’s real estate license laws dictate certain parameters. Each agent’s unique personality shapes individual preferences. Plus, there are countless ways to explain what you do for buyers and what they need to know about current market conditions.
