Like ABR® designees, Accredited Buyer’s Representative Managers gain specialized training and ongoing informational updates. They also have access to all other members-only resources offered by REBAC, including customizable marketing tools that can help you actively promote your company’s buyer-representation services.
Accredited Buyer’s Representative Manager (ABRMSM) Designation Requirements
The ABRMSM is the only buyer-representation designation for managers, brokers and owners affiliated with NAR. To earn and use this designation, you must complete all four (4) requirements:
- Successful completion of the one-day ABRM Designation Course, including an 80 percent passing grade on the exam.
- Successful completion of the two-day ABR® Designation Course, including an 80 percent passing grade on the exam OR a successful challenge of the exam. See below.
- Documentation verifying that you have overseen a minimum of 25 real estate transactions that involved a buyer’s agent or have had more than two years of oversight experience with buyer’s representatives.
- Maintain active and good membership status in the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council and the National Association of REALTORS®. Exception: International members of REBAC do not have to be members of NAR.
