Julie Collins has been developing content for REBAC's monthly membership newsletter, Today's Buyer's Rep, since 2002. Consistently a favorite REBAC member benefit, Today's Buyer's Rep is filled with articles that keep buyer's representatives informed on the most important industry issues and tips for working successfully with home buyers. Julie takes a lead role in researching and recommending topics, interviewing members and other subject experts, and presenting the most relevant content in a helpful, easy-to-read format.
Julie's efforts in support of buyer representation have also included content development for REBAC's new website, launched in 2008, and the new Home Buyer Toolkit in 2010. She also played an instrumental role in the creation of a new REBAC member benefit—consumer one-sheets that can be used in buyer counseling sessions and other work with buyers.
In addition to supporting Today's Buyer's Rep, Julie also develops content for the National Association of REALTORS® Global Perspectives newsletter, geared towards multicultural and international real estate transactions. She has also contributed articles to the REALTORS® Land Institute's Terra Firma newsletter and assisted in the development of various membership brochures.
Outside the real estate industry, Julie co-authored the Chicago Board of Trade's Handbook of Futures & Options in 2006. Her company, BlueStem Marketing, helps real estate agents, financial and research firms, and other professional service organizations develop more effective marketing and business communications.
